Led by Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, the Mavericks came out firing in the first quarter, outscoring the Celtics 32-18. Dallas continued to dominate the game throughout the first half, building a 62-43 lead at the break.
In the second half, the Mavericks extended their lead, shooting 52% from the field and holding the Celtics to just 38%. Doncic finished the game with 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists, while Irving added 25 points and 6 assists.
The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum's 20 points, but he was the only Boston player to score in double figures. The Celtics also struggled on the glass, being outrebounded by the Mavericks 52-31.
